About

One of the best stops for all ages in the Midwest is the one-of-a-kind car exhibits at the Kruse Automotive and Carriage Museum featuring a variety of vehicles to entertain the whole family. Feel the adrenaline rush of looking at the aerodynamic lines of an Indy racecar, admire the workmanship and ingenuity of antique carriages and get a close-up look at cars from your favorite television and movies. Some of these Hollywood favorites include the Batmobile complete with a theatrical set, The Dukes of Hazzard’s General Lee, KITT from Knight Rider and many other famous cars. At the Kruse Automotive and Carriage Museum you will find one of the world’s finest collections of custom hotrods built by the world-famous Carl Casper. You will not find another museum with as many specialty vehicles! There is also an extraordinary selection of carriages including several British Royal carriages and an original Wells Fargo stagecoach. The large atrium that divides the two museums is perfect for weddings, car club meetings and company banquets. Walk next door in the same building and visit the National Military History Center where it is our goal to help current and future generations of Americans understand and embrace the unique nature of the United States Military. Our National Military History Center museum centers on the individual sacrifice and service that continues to secure and preserve the freedoms we all enjoy. Don’t miss our WWII Victory Museum spotlighting local hero’s accounts!
