At the East Noble Regional at Noble Hawk Golf Links in Kendallville Sept. 22, Frick shot an 80 to help lead Carroll to a second-place finish. At state this past Friday and Saturday, Frick shot a 95 in Friday's opening round, then shaved nine strokes off that number for an 86 on Saturday to help lead Carroll to a 10th-place finish.
