Jerry received his auctioneer’s license in the 1961 and his real estate salesman’s license in 1962. He worked with his father, Jay Grogg, in real estate and auctioneering until 1964, when he obtained a broker’s license and started in own independent business. In 1969, he formed a partnership with Virgil L. Hardin, and they worked together in real estate until Mr. Hardin’s retirement in 1978. He has attended professional seminars, including antique appraising and has knowledge and experience in both real estate and personal property appraisals for attorneys and lending institutions, as well as for his own business purposes. Mr. Grogg has made many court appearances in regards to real estate and personal property value.
