The Land & Liberty Coalition was formed in 2018 with the goal of giving local citizens a voice in their energy future.
The L&LC seeks to provide a forum for those within the community who already support utility-scale renewable energy projects coming into their community AND works to spread awareness, offer resources to those looking to learn more about proposed projects. This model was successful in Michigan and Indiana - our two founding chapters. Since then, we’ve launched new chapters - to support local voices - in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, Ohio, Texas, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, and Kentucky.
