COMING UP @TRINE HMECOMING 2021 TRINE UNIVERSITY alumni s family weekend Community members are invited to share in the fun as Trine University celebrates its annual Homecoming. Be part of these and other events this weekend: Thunder SK Walk/Run Sponsored by the Trine University Health Science Association, this is a free event, but donations will be accepted to benefit Riley Children's Hospital. Check-in begins at 7:30 a.m. Saturday. Thunder Zone Activities Enjoy free Thunder Zone activities from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday on the University Center and Zollner Stadium lawns, including activities, food vendors and more. Football vs. Adrian Catch the excitement as the Thunder open their conference season against the Adrian Bulldogs at 1 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $7 general admission, 53 for senior citizens. The fun doesn'tend after Homecoming. Check out these other upcoming events: Try Skating for Free Hosted by Trine University's Thunder Ice Arena from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, this event is open to all ages and levels of experience - including none at all Free admission, skate rental and lessons. Raffles and prizes available. Engineers Without Borders Golf Outing Support Trine University's Engineers Without Borders as they raise money to provide consistent drinking water to a small village in Ecuador. The Saturday, Oct. 9, event begins with lunch at noon and a shotgun start at 1 p.m. Cost is $100 per person, including lunch and cart. To register by Oct. 2 or for more information, contact Tim Tyler, Ph.D., at tylertatrine.edu or (260) 665-4821. Steuben County College Fair Area high school juniors and seniors as well as families looking for information about colleges and universities from around the Midwest are invited to the free Steuben County College Fair from 6-7:30 p.m. Wednesday. Oct. 13, in Trine University's MTI Center. Includes representatives from more than 30 higher education institutions. For more information, contact Mattie Long at longmøtrine.edu. Open Skate Get on the ice at the Thunder Ice Arena from S:45-7:45 p.m. every Wednesday and 4:45-6:45 p.m. every Sunday. Cost is $8, with skate rental available for $2.
