COMING UP @TRINE The fall semester is in full swing at Trine University, with many events for the community! Join us for the following upcoming campus happenings: Fall Play: 'You Can't Take It With You' The Theatre Department at Trine University will be performing its fall play, "You Can't Take it With You." Performances will be at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 22, and 3 and 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 23. Held in the T. Furth Center Performing Arts, the play is open to the public. Tickets are $8 general admission, $5 for non-Trine students and free for Trine faculty, staff and students. Trine Orchestra and Choir Performance The Trine Orchestra and Choir will be performing in the T. Furth Center for Performing Arts at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 24. This event is free and open to the public. Football The Thunder host Kalamazoo with kickoff at 1 p.m. Oct. 23. Tickets are $7; $3 for seniors and children under 18. Women's Volleyball Trine welcomes Albion to Hershey Hall at 1 p.m. Oct. 30. Tickets are $5; $3 for seniors and children. Men's Hockey Trine's ACHA D2 team hosts Cincinnati University at 7 p.m. Oct. 22 and 4:15 p.m. Oct. 23. Tickets range from $3 standing room to $8 on the rail. Women's Hockey The Thunder host Stevenson at 7 p.m. on Oct. 29 and Oswego State at 2 p.m. Oct. 30. Tickets range from $5 standing room to $15 on the rail. Women's Soccer Trine welcomes Albion at 3 p.m. Oct. 23 and Alma at 4 p.m. Oct. 26. Poe Night with Lou Ann Homan Join Lou Ann Homan at 7 p.m. on Oct. 26 at the University Center Campfire for retellings and performances of works by Edgar Allan Poe. Mathematics Colloqium A Trine University mathematics student will present a mathematics colloquia in Wells Theater on the university campus. Jacob Roeder of Granger, Indiana, will speak Thursday, Oct. 28, on "Algebraically Defined Graphs." This event begins at 4 p.m., and is free and open to the public. Open Skate Get on the ice at the Thunder Ice Arena from 5:45-7:45 p.m. every Wednesday and 4:45-6:45 p.m. every Sunday. Cost is $8, with skate rental available for $2.
