COMING UP @TRINE Join us for the following upcoming campus happenings: Potawatomi Great Lakes Regional College Fair High school students and parents can talk to representatives from more than 60 colleges universities and organizations in the MTI Center from 6-8 p.m. Oct. 10. The event is free and open to the public, and will include sessions on completing the FAFSA and college financial aid. Students can register in advance at strivefair.com. Angola Mayoral Debate Sponsored by The Herald Republican Incumbent Angola Mayor Richard Hickman and challenger Common Councilman Joe Hysong will debate current issues facing the city beginning at 6 p.m. Oct. 17 in Fabiani Theatre. Candidates for contested races in Orland and Hamilton also have been invited. Doors open at 5:30 p.m, and the event is free and open to the public. Candidates Debates 2019 kpc MEDIA GROUP Football Trine will host Olivet on Oct. 19, with kickoff at 1 p.m. During halftime, enjoy a performance from the Sound of Thunder and High Voltage Dance Team. Tickets are $7 general admission, $3 for senior citizens and children under 18. Women's Volleyball The Thunder welcome conference foe Kalamazoo at 7 p.m. Oct. 16. Tickets are $5; $3 for seniors and children 61 Men's Hockey Trine's ACHA D2 team faces Eastern Michigan University at 7 p.m. Oct. 23. Tickets range from $3 standing room to $8 on the rail. Soccer Trine's women's team welcomes conference rival Hope at 4 p.m. Oct. 15. The Thunder men will host Olivet at 2 p.m. Oct. 19 Open Skate Get on the ice at the Thunder Ice Arena from 5:45-7:45 p.m. every Wednesday and 4:45-645 p.m. every Sunday. Cost is $6, with skate rental available for $3 Brunch by Bon Appetit Join us in the award-winning Whitney Commons Café for an all-you-can eat brunch, including a carving station, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday.
